Ordering Tips

Pro Packaging is a sub-contractor for several distributors. Please call us to get connected to a distributor that will be able to best serve your needs. We are happy to walk you through the decisions you need to make before ordering to help you receive the best results.

Preparing Your Order

Decisions, decisions?

It all starts with the tape. Know the width, strength, lengths and materials you prefer.
Next is the quantity you require. Tape is sold in full cases. The quantity in a case will vary by width and length of the tape. This will be determined at the time of order.
Finally is the artwork to be printed, the number of ink colors (max 3 – varies by tape type).
Sounds simple right? Please feel free to call for guidance. We’d love to meet you and help. We’ve added a few more tips below and a term glossary on the right to assist you.

Tape Decisions

Tape Type: tape substrates vary for different applications
Tape Grade: thickness matters for strength and durability
Width & Length: available in set sizes listed in the tape description pages
Tape Base Color: available in set colors listed in the tape description pages

Quantity Decisions

Have a good idea of how much tape you use per month and we’ll be able to help you choose a quantity that is just right.

Art Decisions

Keys to quality brand representation are simplicity, clarity, and color. It can be your company name or logo, a statement, or symbol (think Amazon’s smile arrow).
Submitting your artwork in a vector file (Illustrator AI, EPS, or PDF) will yield the crispest printing. A 300dpi raster file (TIF, JPG, PNG, or PSD) may be acceptable. (Raster files may incur additional art conversion fees – you will be consulted in such cases)
Select your ink colors from our color chart. This is a spot color process only, custom PMS colors are additional fees.
Avoid ink colors touching for better results. Free consultation available if you have questions about your art.
Determine your repeat distance of 4″, 5″, 8″, 10″ or 12″ measured from the center of your artwork.
